What commencement date should I choose?

We have set up the card so that card holders can immediately make ONLINE accommodation bookings even though the commencement date on your card is starting in a week, month or 6 months in the future. Take advantage of this by setting your commencement date to start when your holiday commences and get greater flexibility with the use of the online booking system.

Note: When buying your card, there is an automatic extension of 12 days to allow for the delivery of your card. This helps you to get the most benefit and value possible.

How long will my card take to be delivered?

The average time for your card to be delivered is 12 days. This can be less if your delivery address is in Australia. 

How to make a booking?

There are 3 ways to receive the discounts offered in each case you will have to quote or show your Aussie Travel Saver card.

• By booking online, this applies to many of our accommodation outlets and travel insurance.
• Contact by email or telephone, do this when booking a Tour so that you ensure your booking is confirmed. (We recommended this for all tour operators, to ensure bookings are available)
• Simply show your card at one of our thousands of discount providers, this applies to the majority of our discount providers.

Why are our discounts so good?

We pass onto you the total discount offered by our providers because we do not charge our providers commission or advertising fees hence they offer our members greater discounts. 

How do I activate my free Optus sim card?

Once you receive your Free Optus sim card you will be able to activate online www.optus.com.au/activate or by inserting your Optus sim card into your phone and following the instructions that we provide. Instructions are on page 6 & 7 of the instruction book.

How many times can I use the Aussie Travel Saver card?

Endless savings are available; you can use your card as many times as you like in the validity period. So if you only use your card at restaurant that you like, you can use it 30 times in a month. 

What if I lose my card?

Contact support@aussietravelsaver.com.au and we will replace your card asap. There is a $10 handling fee and normal delivery term applies (12 days). We will endeavour to make this process as fast as possible to prevent you missing out on hot deals.

Where can I use my card?

In every state and region in Australia. We have thousands of outlets throughout Australia offering discounts in rural and urban areas. We provide more discounts in more towns than any other service.

Note: If you are looking for Car Hire, we provide a 10% discount at ALL hertz outlets in Australia. Just click on the Hertz link and find your nominated location on the Hertz website.

Who can get an Aussie Travel Saver?

The Aussie Travel Saver is available to all age groups and demographics with a variety of interests to suit everybody. Everyone will find benefits and significant value out of their own Aussie Travel Saver.

How do I buy an Aussie Travel Saver card?

There is 2 ways to purchase your Aussie Travel Saver card.

• Online from the Buy Now page. This will allow you immediate access to discounts after you have purchased your card for all online bookings. You will need to wait to the commencement date before using non online discount offers.
• A manual submission by post/ mail. This is completed by an online order form that you can download here. Caution: This process will take additional time to activate your card. Please ensure a valid email address is provided so Aussie Travel Saver can correspond with your active card number. This process is better if you prefer not to input your Credit Card online
