We then head up to the mountains and Springbrook National Park. The drive up is impressive as we delve into the lush World Heritage National Park. The Gold Coast and Springbrook Day Tour then takes you on a 4 kilometre hike through Volcanic caves and under Waterfalls, while your tour guide describes about the rainforest plants and the impressive story of the evolution of this immaculate area. An average level of fitness is required to be rewarded with a picnic lunch at the base of Twin Falls. You will also be rewarded with more lookouts and a trip through the gorgeous Numinbah Valley on our way back home.
