The Adventure Tours Australia - 3 Day Uluru Safari is the classic Red Centre tour. Take your time to spend three days exploring the highlights of the area - Uluru, Kata Tjuta and Kings Canyon. This was the first trip Adventure Tours started with and it's as good as it ever was! The tour gives you the right amount of time to see everything well.
Day 1: Alice Springs to Kata Tjuta and Uluru
Adventure Tours Australia - 3 Day Uluru Safari begins at the Outback Camel Farm where passengers will get to ride a camel (at own expense), before continuing on to Uluru (Ayers Rock) viewing the open plains along the way. After lunch, we set out to explore the wonder of Kata Tjuta (Olgas) and hike the Valley of the Winds. After dinner at our permanent campsite, view the brilliance of the outback sky then curl up for the night in our tents or if you prefer, under the open sky with the millions of stars in an authentic Aussie bedroll (swag).
Day 2: Uluru to Kings Canyon
An early start is required for one of the highlights of the tour - the Uluru sunrise. Enjoy a walk around the base exploring the mysterious rock formations and Aboriginal art sites while watching the changing light on the desert or you can choose to climb the rock. A visit to the Cultural Centre offers the chance to view and purchase Aboriginal arts and crafts.
Day 3: Kings Canyon to Alice Springs
On the finaly day of the 3 Day Uluru Safari, you will climb and explore Kings Canyon, witnessing the impressive formations of the 'Amphitheatre', 'The Lost City', the scenic 'Garden of Eden' and the breathtaking North and South walls. After lunch we depart for Alice Springs, enjoying the rugged desert scenery along the way.
