Gunnamatta Trail Rides most popular 'signature ride' is the 2 hour ride to St Andrews Ocean Beach . You ride towards the ocean beach along a bushland track for 40 minutes and then climb up and over sand dunes and down onto a beautiful sandy beach where horses can play and frolic in the protected shallows.
Competent riders may trot and canter along the long stretches of sandy beach as the waves crash over nearby rugged rocks. The exhilaration of the pounding hooves and pounding waves as the wind blows in your face is just breath-taking.
For your own peace of mind, more than half of the riders who have enjoyed this ride had never ridden a horse before. This ride is so popular that we run it every day of the year (except Xmas day).
