More than just a brewery tour, the XXXX Ale House provides an insight in to the 130 year history of an Australian icon. Located only minutes away from Brisbane's city centre, this facility includes an interactive brewery tour, XXXX beer gear shop, and a unique bar offering a true XXXX experience.
Lasting approximately one hour and fifteen minutes, the XXXX Brewery Tour leads you through the history of beer and shares the colourful story of Castlemaine Perkins and its place in Queensland history. A guided walk through the brewery unlocks the secret of the famous XXXX brew and provides a chance to see the Southern Hemisphere’s biggest single packaging line in action.
After experiencing the heritage and workings of the XXXX brewery, visitors are given the opportunity to taste four of its popular beers at the end of the tour in the XXXX Ale House bar. The XXXX Ale House is open to the public for brewery tours and lunches daily - Monday to Saturday.
