With over 300 hectares of bushland and 1000 animals, Taronga Western Plains Zoo is more than a zoo experience, it's a safari adventure located in Dubbo, Central West NSW.
When planning your own safari adventure, remember that all tickets to Taronga Western Plains Zoo are valid for two consecutive days. This gives you plenty of time to explore the Zoo's 6km circuit, navigable by by car, bike, electric cart or on foot. As you travel around the grounds you will encounter animals hailing from each corner of the globe, however you will also find yourself immersed in the great Australian bush – this Zoo adventure will really bring you back to nature.
A full daily schedule of keeper activities and special tours, such as Animal Encounters and Early Morning Walks, deliver magical up close animal experiences you will never forget.
