The Ratho Golf Links is a public golf course, open to all golfers throughout the year.
An honesty green fees box is located in the open foyer of the clubhouse, where visitors can sign the National Golf Register, to acknowledge that they have played Australia's Oldest Golf Course, and the oldest known golf course, still existing outside of Scotland.
As home to the local Bothwell Golf Club, on some occassions visitors will find a mens, ladies or mixed competition in progress. These generally have small but friendly fields of up to a dozen golfers.
Guests of the Ratho Farm Golf Links are welcome to either ask a member about joining and playing in the competition, or alternatively hit off after members have gone through, and join the members in the bar afterwards for a refreshment.
