Your Banksia Adventure Wine, Water and Wildlife Experience tour guide will pick you up in Adelaide and take you for a drive along the picturesque route to the McLaren Vale wine region, where you will have morning tea and visit one of the premium local wineries, before proceeding south towards the coastal town of Victor Harbor.
Here you will visit Urimbirra Wildlife Sanctuary, home to many native Australian animals, including koalas, kangaroos, wombats, dingoes and even crocodiles.
You will have the opportunity to get ‘up close and personal’ with many of the animals including private access with the Koalas.
After lunch you will explore parts of the southern coast of the peninsula, including Port Elliot, Lake Alexandrina, the floodplain of the Bremer River and one of Australia’s oldest family-owned wineries in the Langhorne Creek wine region.
At the end of your day of wine, water and wildlife experiences we return to the city via the freeway through the gumtree-studded Adelaide Hills.
