Emerging from the Mt Lofty Ranges, you arrive at Lake Alexandrina where the Murray River spreads out before ending its journey to the sea.
Along the shores of Lake Alexandrina you will pass Poltalloch Station, a historic homestead with all the grandeur of a bygone era.
The 4WD track through the Coorong National Park takes you through the habitat of kangaroos, emus and other bird life. The scenery here is also rich in history.
You will hear stories of Aboriginal history and culture, beliefs and traditions. You will see the local plants that are used as food and medicine. You will experience some of the art, craft and history of the Ngarrindjeri people.
