Bayplay & Beyond - Paddle the Dolphin Sanctuary
There is no better way to explore the immaculate Mornington Peninsula coastline than by Sea Kayak. These Eco friendly vessels improve the chance to come across dolphins, penguins and seals while gliding through the clear water, emitting neither pollution nor noise. When one of these magnificent creatures surface next to your kayak it brings home what a wonderful place Port Phillip Bay really is.
Tours begin with a briefing covering terminology, equipment use, skills and safety procedures. Our highly experienced guides also educate kayakers on the marine life and points of interest along the way.
Then we make our way along Point Nepean National Park, and into the Dolphin Sanctuary. All along the tour, your guide will inform you all about the history of Port Phillip Bay and the marine life you encounter. After making your way closer to the Heads, you'll turn around and head towards Sorrento, past the hilltop mansions and private piers, before returning to Portsea.
