At this time of year you can discover Kakadu as it transforms itself - from dry and empty watercourses after 7 months with little rain, to a bounty of life emerging after wild lightening storms bring much needed rain. Dry riverbeds begin to flow bringing dormant waterfalls to life that then fill the floodplains.
