Enjoying a winery lunch and wine tastings at Gisborne Peak Winery, located within the Macedon Ranges wine region; a recognised cool climate wine growing region, where Winemaker Bob Nixon and his wife Barbara Nixon are experts in both hospitality and tourism, and are sure to provide a unique experience in this region.
Beer tasting at Holgate Brewery - home of the 2008 Best Beer Brewed in Victoria Trophy. Holgate's is a country pub with classic beer styles, full in flavour and rich in character. The 100 year old local icon, Keatings Hotel, in the picturesque village of Woodend, is a top spot for a boutique rewery. Currently Holgates Bar and Restaurant is in full swing with seven Holgate draught beers, including the 2008 Australian International Beer Awards Premiers Trophy winner, Big ReG Lager, and extensive local wine list and a gourmet lunch and dinner menu.
